Krishna Institute of Technology (KIOT) was launched by Gyan Ganga Educational Society which was established on July 16, 2007 with an objective to put in to the national wealth of the country with an exclusive determination to motivate new millennium youths to meet their individual as well as national goals, craft out technically sound individuals and a create a platform for innovative global desires.
With the advancement of technology, employers in India and abroad are looking for qualified personnel for executing projects in private and public sectors. There is no doubt that a number of institutes already exist but the demand has outstripped supply. Going by the ever increasing demand for professionals, this unfathomable gap will perhaps never be bridged. This ever increasing demand spurred the Gyan Ganga society to start this institute.
In 2007, the Krishna Group of Institutions laid the foundation stone of their humanitarian mission in the central zone of the state 'Uttar Pradesh' by establishing the “Krishna Institute of Technology ", to impart the best Engineering Education in Kanpur. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.
